I'm Nico Schuth, a commercial outdoor photographer and visual storyteller based in Germany, creating cinematic imagery inspired by the world's most remote landscapes.

Raised among the forests and rolling hills of the Eifel region, my passion for the outdoors has shaped both my photography and the stories I want to tell. After finishing school, I spent time living in Canada, where exploring the Rocky Mountains and the landscapes around Banff strengthened my connection to nature and inspired the visual style that defines my work today.

Today, I work with outdoor brands, tourism boards, hotels, camera manufacturers and adventure-focused companies to create cinematic imagery that goes beyond documenting a place or a product. My goal is to craft visuals that evoke emotion, capture atmosphere and help brands tell authentic stories that leave a lasting impression.

Whether I'm photographing a remote mountain range, a rugged coastline, wildlife or outdoor gear, I believe the strongest images are the ones that make people feel something. They should inspire curiosity, a sense of adventure and the desire to experience the outdoors for themselves.

Alongside commissioned work, I continue to pursue personal projects across Europe and beyond. These journeys allow me to explore new landscapes, refine my creative vision and create the kind of authentic imagery that inspires both my audience and the brands I work with.

For me, photography has never been about simply showing a place.

It's about capturing how it felt to stand there.
